City of La Grande Extends Emergency Declaration

he La Grande School District has announced that tomorrow, May 19 will be the last distance learning packet issued for the school year, that will need to be returned. The packet issued on May 26 will be Summer Learning Resources, and will not require returning.

It is our highest priority to allow our citizens to go back to work while continuing to protect our health care providers, emergency responders, and vulnerable populations.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has added six additional COVID-19 symptoms to its original list of fever, cough and shortness of breath. The additional symptoms are muscle pain, headache, chills, repeated shaking with chills, sore throat, and loss of taste or smell.
